My love affair with makeup started when YouTube makeup tutorials became a thing. Fast forward to 2020... what better way to combat quarantine boredom and merge my passions for beauty and content creation than to try my hand at becoming a beauty influencer?
The Funky Designer
"Funky" is probably the first word I'd use to describe the graphic design style that I've developed over the last few years. I'm drawn to vibrant color combinations, trippy and retro pattern designs, and turning ordinary concepts or objects into funky and abstract illustrations. Beauty by Annette
Playing with makeup has always been one of my favorite forms of art and creative expression. Like graphic design, makeup offers infinite combinations of color and effects and is, quite literally, what you make of it. Below I've included some videos that I produced, edited, and publicly shared on Instagram last year. Although short-lived, the self-fulfillment and energy that I gained from this quarantine hobby further reinforced my for passion for creativity and self-expression through content creation, along with connecting with others throughout this process.
